What does proof of forced entry mean?

Proof of forced entry is very much how it sounds. To approve your claim there will need to be a form of evidence that proves your unit was entered by force. Examples of such are: cut lock, cut or broken latch/hasp, door ripped from rails, etc. 

If there are no clear signs of forced entry it is possible that your claim may fall under Mysterious Disappearance in your Storage Shield Protection Plan Addendum. It is best to submit a claim and let our underwriter review for a final conclusion.
